The total cost to build the CNC plasma cutter was $2273.96. This includes the software, plasma cutter and THC. The computer is not listed as part of the cost of the machine. An old Windows XP machine was literally pulled out of the trash for this project. LinuxCNC does not have much overhead and an old computer actually runs it quite well. However, you can use as nice of a computer as you wish. Links to everything else are listed below.
